Paper Covered Conductors are used in oil filled distribution and power transformers as they have good dielectric strength when immersed in oil. No. of layers of Paper & thickness of paper depends on the overall thickness of Insulation desired for winding purposes. Paper Covering can be done with Kraft paper or Crepe paper as per the requirements of our customers.
